I was growling by the second half, because if they left it hanging with John in the future I would have been really really really pissed. They all just need lots of hugs right now. Or maybe I do. I'm not sure.

They got together AFTER JOHN LEFT and Rodney still believed John was alive and, and, and, the scene with her in the hospital bed made it seem like she KNEW SOMETHING which (I am so stretching here but I don't care because it makes me feel better) I have taken to mean she knew he loved John. homg.

I think he wanted to give John an accurate representation of what had happened-- also, if he hadn't been old, would John really have believed him? It would have taken a lot longer with Rodney looking just like Rodney.
