Oooh, I love old movies! 'It Happened One Night' is a favorite. I also love musicals and recommend any of the Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers classics, especially 'Top Hat', 'Swing Time' and 'The Gay Divorcee'.

Not so old but highly recommended: 'L.A. Confidential', 'Lone Star' (and anything else directed by John Sayles), Memento, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert.
