The brindles are the brown-beige sort of stripey ones. Oddly they are apparently much easier to place for adoption groups- the black ones like my boy tend to get overlooked!
They would have been wearing coats- they feel the cold much more than other breeds as they have very little body fat, and only one layer of fur (most dogs have longer guard hairs, and a shorter layer for insulation. Yes, I am a giant geek when it comes to greyhounds!). A lot will wear house coats too at night in cold weather, essentially pajamas!
I'm glad you like him! I wish I could have him with me (he lives with my parents because I can't have dogs in my apartment) and I miss him so much.
