SO AWESOME SO SEXY! Thank you, Eric, thank you. Maybe next up we can work on getting full frontal nudity for both our boys and a shower scene? There could be a shower monster that Sam has to fight. By showering. I'm stretching here, but, baby, I know you can make it work. - How many times do you think Jared and Jensen had to practice that badge scene before they could stop themselves from cracking up? It was hot like burning, but also completely hysterical. I love them so much.
- Jared's mole. Was so distractingly hot in the beginning of the episode. It should get cred for a guest star spot. Seriously, that was incredible, I've never seen it so sexass before. And then when he went all hardass on Ron, I think I came or made some really embarassing noises or was reborn as a better person. God, he was all competant and controlling and, and - I need a moment. [shuffling noises]
Ahem. - When Dean zoomed in on that girl's ass? HAHH! And did anyone else think Sam was completely into it for the first few seconds? He was all leaning forward, "Oh. Oh, wait, I'm supposed to, like, be a prude. Dean!" The fact that Dean was completely unashamed made me squeal like a happy thing.
- Ron! Ron! I love Ron! "This is not a robbery! Get down on the ground!" And Anney and I have decided he spent, like, ten minutes somewhere in the middle of this episode using his geek powers to create a Dean Winchester fansite, complete with tracker signal and night cams inside the Imapala. Nekkid Deen! Or even clothed Dean, because he's still hot. Especially in COSTUMES!

Anney: I'LL TELL YOU WHAT I WANT WHAT I REALLY REALLY WANT! - Dean is so incredibly awesome with talking to people. Sam's the one with the puppy dog eyes, sure, but Dean knows how to get people in his pocket, how to make them respect him. Like, five minutes into their little trek and Ron was looking at Dean with stars in his eyes. Poor Ron, he tried so hard and then he didn't even get to really help. But I have to say, the fact that the scene was entirely silent except for the shot itself was so perfectly done, in my opinion.
- This entire episode was one huge ass button-mashing competance!kink wet dream. Sam in the beginning, being all suave and demanding, and then Dean just ordering them all around like that, and NO ONE QUESTIONED IT. *flappy hands* But the best part? The best part of this entire episode? Sam taking down two trained SWAT officers! OH. MY. GOD. Like, I can't even form a coherant thought about that, my mind keeps shying away from the idea. SAM. OMG!
- The one thing that caught me was the fact that we barely got any shapeshifter at all. Just a few moments of fighting between it and Dean, nothing that made it a person instead of a thing. I liked that about the original shapeshifter, because it was shades of grey, y'know? I didn't really mind it so much in this episode because there was so much going on, but I missed the extra bit of conflict and horror it brought on in Skin.
- The entire DEEN moment with the Victor dude - with whom Kate is IN LOVE - made me wail and kick and generally act like a three year old. No one gets to talk to Dean about John like that without a fist to the face or a knee to the crotch, man! Well, unless it's Sammy. Then he just gets the w00bie eyes. BUT STILL, he knew everything! (What do you wanna bet he tracks them down and he ends up calling Sam "Sammy". He seems like that kinda guy.) Yes, Dean, you are really fucking screwed.
So, in conclusion, though? FABULOUS EPISODE. That last scene was so perfect and tone-sure and and and! *flail* Oh! Also. In case you didn't already have it, here's Styx - Renegade. And next week ZJFOIAHWGAWF HOMG, YOU GUYS, HOLD ME. IS IT THURSDAY YET?

I KNOW. And as I was watching it, I kept thinking, 'ugh; it's another Dean episode...' but I say it with the utmost love! I don't WANT to like Dean more or like Sam more; I want their love to be equal but DAMN. With all this Dean!fabulousness all over the place, they're just not making it easy on me. I resist! But for how long??

OH THANK GOD. I was SO DISTRACTED and stuck on staring at his lips and chin when he was MIBing Ronald at his house, I missed half the dialouge.
Also? Dean, like, hits himself in the face with the phone when he realizes how dire the situation really is. GAH, woobie!

And the long coats should be, like, business casual for the Winchester, so they wear them at least once every episode. SWEEPING. I wish we would have gotten Dean really working it - stalking off around a corner, dramatic flair of the coat tail!! *swooN*

And then talking about Daddy Win like that, I was like 'No, he didn't' complete with neck role and palm out. I was gonna reach throw the tv and give him a beat down.

I loved the john!angst!! Woobie Dean when they were talking about John? My fav part. I loved the way they worked the suspense and the FBI agent? Vincent or whatever? I really enjoyed his personality and character and I hope he comes back. I am in two minds over the ending. I liked it, but I also want my boys to be safe and not have to worry about the feds etc. It seems weird when real life sneaks into the supernatural, but it was also interesting to see what people thought of Sam and Dean when they didn’t know about the ghosts and other stuff.
It was good to use a reoccurring monster because the whole history and legend was already established and didn’t have to be explained to any of the victims in the bank “robbery”, which made it interesting and easier for dean and sam to conceal themselves and lie. However, it also meant that the group of people didn’t try to protect the boys (as the ones that they save normally do). It was interesting that Ronald was the only one who knew the truth, but he died. Saved them having to clean up that loose end, so to speak.
