I am just - I'm incoherent with ANGER. God. I know my mother and I don't have the best relationship ever - or really a relationship at all - but it doesn't take that much effort to think about what you're saying before you say it. People do it all the time! I hear it's all the rage in politics! It's one thing to be concerned about your daughter's education, but it's something else entirely to say, "Look, you won't be able to do it yourself, and I know someone who can pull a few strings to get you in," and expect me not to take insult. Fucking - fucking FUCK. I didn't get fours all my AP exams, go through high school with A's, start college with junior level classes, and pass the SATs and ACTs in the highest percentiles to have someone pull fucking strings to get me into a college I don't want to go to and that isn't even that fucking great! It's Stonybrook, not Harvard. A freaking SUNY out in bumfuck Suffolk County. Thanks, Mom, it's great to know you have such confidence in me. Really. What would I do without your support.
