My book is very much reminding me of Supernatural. This bloke's wife died and he went to her burial and that, and then he went to sleep in this motel, got up for the loo in the middle of the night, when he came back to bed, there was his wife sitting on his bed, with all the grave muck on her fingernails and that, and smelling like rot and formaldehyde. He's like,
"You're supposed to be dead, baby. I've just been to your funeral."
She goes, "Yeah. I always thought the dead stayed where they were, but hey."
It was WELL spooky. Reminded me of that one where whatshername the corpse came back and was kissing whatshisface, in that episode, and she was just all corpsified and gross and you're like, stop kissing whatshisface that must taste so gross.
