UST is possibly the best thing ever. Don't get me wrong, I love RESOLVING - oh do I love resolving - but the part where the main characters are still sort of dancing around each other, teasing and flirting and pushing just that little bit more, then backing off all over again? Afjawofjwa;fijawGJwafij Jesus. That gets me like pretty much nothing else. Where is the flirting epic, dudes, where? I would write it, except I can't. I've tried. SOMEONE! IN MY HOUR OF NEED!

Speaking of, what's your favorite thing to read in a story? Are you a sucker for crack? 'Sam falls first' fic? One of them as a jerk? What?

I know, writing UST is so damn fdfghjgfj. It makes me twitchy! But I'm a big UST lover as well.

I'm currently playing Susan Bones in an Harry Potter rpg. Harry and Susan went flying together just for fun, some small things happened, and now there is this awkward tension between them. Harry keeps stuttering when he talks to Susan, and Susan keeps blushing, and it's driving me batshit insane! But they're going to a masquerade ball together later this week, so hopefully we'll get some resolving of the tension then.

It's HORRIBLE because you're the AUTHOR and you can fix them if you so choose with just a few well-placed words - HOW CAN YOU NOT? *has fits over this*

Because they both have issues. It wouldn't be natural for them to skip the UST. But they'll work it out, I'm sure of it. At least I managed to get the awkward out.
