“There’s a shower back there ya’ll can use.” The bartender drawls, handing them each a towel and a beer. Jensen flashes her a dimpled grin and a “Thanks, Darlin’,” looking to further piss Jared the fuck off, apparently.
Again, he curls his fingers around Jensen’s arm, tugging him towards the back of the bar and through the door the girl had indicated.
The door slams against the tiles in the tiny backroom, the loud echo reverberating in the room. “Damn, Jared. What’s got your panties in a twist?”
“Fucking asshole,” Jared growls, his hand still tightly gripping Jensen’s arm. “I can’t believe you pulled that shit.”
Jensen’s smirk just grows, the lines around his eyes crinkiling as he wretches himself out of Jared’s grasp and makes his way over to the mirror hanging on the wall. Appraising his reflection, Jensen raises his eyes to meet Jared’s in the glass. The tip of his tongue snakes out the corner of his mouth, catching a miniscule glob of green before working over the flushed pink of his lower lip. “You look like shit, man.”
“Fuck you.”
“Hey, I won. I’d say you owe me a prize, not the other way around. Overgrown baby.”
“Fuck YOU.” Jared repeats, tearing his eyes off the image, Jensen smug and gloating. He’s aching even more, if such a thing is possible. And he is pissed. The. Fuck. Off.
The shower is small, and has no curtain, just a drain and a head. Jared steps inside and twists on the hot water, allowing it to splash at his feet while it warms.
Even that bugs the shit out of him, knowing that he’ll be banging his elbow against the tile as
