Mel (2:23:49 AM): at first it was an sga dream and rodney and john were squabbling about a map and they were on a roadtrip

Mel (2:27:04 AM): AND THEN SUDDENLY they were sam and dean and they were being chased by henrickson because apparently my subconscious is not happy with the fact that they've left him out this season, and all of the people i was 'friends' with in high school met them along the way and there were moments of WINCEST - like at one point dean reached over for a napkin and was practically in sam's lap and it was SO FREAKIN AWESOME - and then the police caught up with them after they'd gotten stopped waiting for the commuter trains to cross the tracks and they ran into this barber shop! and i was like WHY ARE YOU GOING INTO A BARBER SHOP THE POLICE ARE SURROUNDING YOU YOU FOOLS but for some reason the police who were WAITING for them in the barber shop went into the bathroom to wait for sam and dean to hide in there and sam and dean were like HAH and they climbed into the janitor's alcove together and pushed the door open so the bell would ring and the police would run out to find them. and they were all squished together and breathing hard and listening for any sign of the police to come back and they locked eyes and it was VERY TENSE and suddenly kolya jumped out of the rafters and said come with me if you want to live and i woke up.

Mel (2:28:02 AM): I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. that's the first time i've dreamed in, like, two months! so i guess it was due to be weird.

Mel (2:29:06 AM): I LOVE IT, don't you love it? it's like TV ONLY BETTER AND IN YOUR HEAD. i once had a dream i was trapped inside a boarding school with robin and we had to get out but the GARGOYLES were evil and shot stained glass LASERS out of their eyes. i think.

Why do I always miss my chance to poke you to write badfic? DAMMIT! Also, I think you should write this. Definitely.

The first part of your dream reminds me of a plotbunny I have for a fic where John and Rodney are stuck on earth and under constant surveillance (because they are not allowed to return to Atlantis and the SGC doesn't want them to pull the same stunt they did in The Return) and just to fuck with the SGC, they sign upp for Bull Run (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullrun) where they drive and banter their way into the heart of audiences everywhere.

In this scenario, John is the driver and Rodney navigates, because, as Rodney told the audience, John's navigation skills are crap on the ground.

Basically, it would just be an excuse to write a story of John and Rodney racing through America and becoming celebrities (gay celebrities, because they totally get caught on camera when they're making out against the hood of their car one night) in the progress.

How is it that I just get the creepy dreams where drunk and aggressive neighbors put their fist through my window or there's a new Chernobyl catastrophe and all people are urged to stay indoors with their window closed? I want, nay *demand*, that John and Rodney show up in my dreams too.

OKAY OKAY OKAY HERE IS MY CRAZY DREAM FROM LAST NIGHT:

I was in the car with my mom and I think my brother, and we were driving to some restaurant for her to meet one of her friends, and then her other friend called and I was trying to give her directions, and then we got there and I peeled off from my mom and my brother and went into this room and there were my cousins near the sink, and a huge counter/bar covered with various types of alcohol, and TEAM TORCHWOOD! Except Jack had glossy, shoulder-length hair, and Owen had a receding hairline, so in retrospect I think that was the SGA portion of my subconscious going "OH HAI PICK ME PLZ KTHX!!!" Anyway I got really drunk and went over to Ianto and started just saying his name because it is funny-- "Iantooooooo, Iaaaanto, Iantooooo" and he was pretty drunk too, so it was awesome. Then I complained about how Jack had nicer hair than I do. Then I got up because I decided I was really drunk so I should switch to drinking water, and went over and talked to my cousin. And then I got up the next day in my dream and went online and told my friend Emmy about it.

SO FUCKING BIZARRE.

OH ALSO, separate dream: I was in a grocery store and my brother threatened to shoot someone, so we had to get a family picture (?) taken. WTF!?!?!? I liked the Torchwood dream better. Obviously.

And it was during Duets - and Cadman had taken Rodney's body out for a test drive - and slept with John. But when they woke up the next morning it was RODNEY and opfgjdfkgj omfg IT WAS ANGSTY AND SORT OF AWESOME AT THE SAME TIME.
