John and I were amazed by the amount of fierce in this episode. I'm not gonna lie, I spent the entire time going AJWFPIMKAWGJPAWGIG RONON OGJIKAWG:MAWG. Especially when Teal'c and Sam first came to the gym and Ronon landed like a wild thing after completely owning that poor marine, oh my god. *feels faint*
Or, well, the entire time except for when I was gawking at John's shiny, pouty mouth. Do people spontaneously combust as he walks by? Because just seeing that on a screen is enough to make anyone tug surreptitiously at their shirt collar; I can't imagine how much of a punch in the gut that must be in person. Note: I will owe my eternal allegiance to whoever can make an icon of his lips for me. Seriously.
And then, because this show is beautiful, awesome things happened.
Kavanagh came back! He had short hair! (I love that they're bringing back little characters like Bates and Kavanagh - it makes me so unreasonably happy.) Ronon and Teal'c were watching The Three Stooges! (I don't know why that happened, but it was brilliant.) Rodney's little face when he found out that Todd had betrayed them! (Todd was tortured, he would NEVER betray his boyfriends.)
Rodney's little face when he thought John was dead. Oh god, his sad, big eyes.
And, just. The part where Ronon says he's not leaving without Teal'c makes my chest ache. Maybe I'm reading too much into that, but. I mean. Do you even think John knows the kind of impact he's had on his teammates? How he's changed their lives and them? Ahhg! ♥

How long does it take for the Daedelus to get from Earth to Midway, canonically? Almost, what...four, five days? Eeeeeee. And, and, okay. John and Ronon are BFF and this is probably the most adorable moment in the history of them, holy jeeze:
