I have to say I'm actually kind of conflicted about this episode. I liked it mostly.

Don't get me wrong. Bringing Michael back was a wowzer of a move and I never for one second expected it, but the way they gave us all the info was kind of wonky. The exposition seemed far clunkier than usual, and the pace was kind of...stuttered? I guess? I don't know, it just seemed like this episode lacked the clumsy, endearing grace that usually has me overlooking plot problems and focusing on the sheer squee of it all. Knowing what the entire episode was building up to didn't help much, of course. WAY TO GO, SCI FI.

That said, things which were yay!

LORNE. Lorne Lorne Lorne LORNE! I sort of want to imagine him now as having a distant crush on Teyla and being all sensitive and babble-y towards her in a way that she totally doesn't even notice. Poor thing. John must have tore him a new one when he came back without her. :O
How many times did John drawl Rawwdneee this episode, exactly? Because, god, his voice was so growly and fh;aogjakmgaf. *fans self*
TODD. TODD. I want Todd to be here for always. He's so snarky and he has so much John in him! Who wrote that fic way back after common ground where the wraith started, like, wanting to play football because he'd absorbed some of John's personality? Was that eleveninches? Probably, because it was hilarious.
Oh man, how many times did I want to hug Teyla in this episode (despite the fact that she can break my arms just by looking at them)? Answer: so many. Doing that to her people, her best friend since childhood? Oh, Teyla. Let Lorne enfold you in his manly arms. :(
Uh, her boobs were really amazing, though, wow. Just thought I should throw that out there.
Rodney, you giant ball of ADORABLE. I think I actually squealed out loud when you turned and covered your ears so John could shoot the door. And the three of them sitting at that table, Ronon and John practically hunched into Rodney's personal space to watch him eat? OH BOYS. There is no telling what you'll get up to without your Teyla to keep you in line. ♥

I think partially because while Teyla is ALWAYS smoking, right now? With her being all round and full and pregnant? She's fucking downright gorgeous - and that should be IMMORTALIZED.

By none other than Evan 'SUNSHINE' Lorne.

Can you imagine his little face when he asks her to pose for him? Half shy and half hopeful and all ADORABLE?

And completely EARNEST. He'd probably blush a bit, too. And she'd just smile and incline her head in that way she has because nudity is totally no big thing to her.

PLUS IT'S LORNE.

EEE! And she'd be all unselfconscious and regal and he'd just fall APART for her.

Um. I may have just jumped ahead.

Like. You know he'd be sort of flushed and he'd have to get out a few quick, jerky sketches first so his hands could learn how not to stutter over the supple curve of Teyla's breast.
