For psychology, we have to do a number of 'experiential projects.' Due today was one wherein we had to record everything we did last week, make a log of it, and figure out how many hours we spent doing 'target activities' like eating, watching TV, etc. And then we have to write a 1 page journal entry about our conclusions.

Experiential Project # 3

From this project, I have learned that I spend a very large portion of my time doing very stupid things. I watch more movies than I should, I eat probably longer than is necessary, I talk on the internet for so long that I’m surprised my hands haven’t fallen off yet, and I do silly things like shower.
However, I do seem to spend a good amount of time studying and/or reading, which is probably very good for my grades, and thus makes me happy. I can’t say that I was very surprised by the amount of time I spent on these activities, though I was sad to realize how many classes I had skipped in the name of fun and mischief. Although, to be fair to myself, usually my weeks aren’t so very full of fun and mischief and classes do not need to be skipped so that I may indulge in them.
I can conclude from my use of time that I am a hippy with no sense of work ethic, although I suppose that I already knew that. I should probably spend more time worrying about my grades or thinking about boys or some such ridiculous thing, but I can’t help the fact that I am stuck in the sixties—it’s a sickness.
In order to more properly manage my time and spend more hours on target activities, such as studying, doing work, being a boring old stooge, etc., I should probably stop from speaking so very often on the internet, actually attempt to do my work on time and study before the test comes about. There are a number of reasons for this. One, because it is very, very stressful to walk into a class and realize that you have a test that you did not know about, and two, it is probably not good for my GPA, which will determine the rest of my life, which very much makes me sad.
In order to achieve the goal of becoming a boring old stooge, I have taken, this week, to going to all of my classes, studying before the class is to start, getting this particular project done before hand, and wearing sweater vests. I feel that my goals are very near achieved, and my boring old stooginess is nearly attained. My friends are very amazed at the fact that I no longer wish to cut classes and romp through the quadrangle with no shoes on.
            Thus ends my journal entry.

I shot that off the cuff in about 10 minutes.

I so rock at college. </sarcasm>
