Poem: Even That
Dec. 12th, 2006 08:34 pmEven That
Sticky, oh,
Your fingers on my neck
Catching in every pore and staying
Staying
It’s more than I’m worth
Your breath is warm
Press it here and here and here
I want to keep you with me
Citrus and milk
Sour, so sour, and sweet like candy
I’ll taste you hours later
Light on my tongue
Even just a trace please
Smooth under my nails
I catch pieces of your careful skin
Take it, it’s yours
And mine, and mine
You’re mine
Sticky, oh,
Your fingers on my neck
Catching in every pore and staying
Staying
It’s more than I’m worth
Your breath is warm
Press it here and here and here
I want to keep you with me
Citrus and milk
Sour, so sour, and sweet like candy
I’ll taste you hours later
Light on my tongue
Even just a trace please
Smooth under my nails
I catch pieces of your careful skin
Take it, it’s yours
And mine, and mine
You’re mine
