Too much Art History
May. 15th, 2006 05:53 pmTruly, I have sunk to new depths.
I've been making earrings all afternoon, 'cause I'm cool like that, and I finally come upon these small shell-beads which are almost like miniature cowrie shells. They're cute, and I think, "Oh, hey, let me make them into earrings!"
Now, that's no mean feat, considering how untalented I am, and the fact that a head-pin won't fit through the uneven hole. So, I take up my wire and I thread the bead and then I sort of wrap it around the shell, 'cause what the hell else can you do with excess wire?
And then I think, "Wow, this can represent the harnessing of nature by technology and man."
Please, please, put me out of my misery. I need to die for just thinking that. Oh man.
