A Post-Apocalyptic AU that really cuts right to the heart of Sam'n'Dean and has a great use of secondary characters. [ABHL spoilers]

Few and Far Between by sevenfists (R) ~2,500 words
Hopeful, beautifully written, and. I just don't have words for it, really. [ABHL spoilers]

Tales of the Wild Country by lyra_wing (R) ~3,765 words

Post-ABHL, and just the kind of thing I hadn't realized I needed until I read it.

This is a fabulous casefile fic; it's clever and sharp and it has one of the best Deans I've ever read. [spoilers for early season 2]

One of those fics that builds slow until you're so thick with it that when you get to the end, you have to immediately reread it from the beginning.

Unabashed, drunken, lovable silliness that had me giggling into my fists.

So anyway, what else've I missed? I hear Jared SURPRISED Jensen by going to A Few Good Men? SOMEONE CONFIRM OR DENY, I am embarrassingly out of the loop. I agree! Not in that you're an idiot, 'cause you are CLEARLY NOT, but it's so much easier to post things that are not controversial.
