unamaga: (STFU)
I have a really, really strong urge to light something on fire. I don't know what, and I'm not particuarly angry, I just long with all of my being to take a match to something flammable.

Does that make me a bad person?

Maybe I've just been away from the chemistry labs for too long. It's been a while since I got to blow any lab tables up or get 10M HCl all over my hands. Say whatever you want about theoretical chemistry, but lab chemistry is pretty frigging awesome--especially when you get to work with the caustic stuff. Mmm, caustic.

And speaking of caustic, have some abandoned!fic lines. )

In other news, there is a large congregation of high, stinky, loud students right under my dorm window. It is nearly 3AM and I cannot sleep for all of their blabbering and screaming.

Pls send waterballoons.

I have an idea.

Now, now, don't look so shocked.

See, lately, I can't actually pump out a fully developed story, which really kinda sucks, and all I can seem to get are these snapshot paragraphs that, while surprisingly eloquent, never get anywhere. So! I thought I might take a leaf out of some other fic-writers' books.

Give me a word, a phrase, a song, anything at all as a prompt. I'll write a small fic, just a few sentences long to go along with your prompt, and then we'll put them all together. Comment more than once if you want; bombard me!

Here's an example:

[Lonely]
Sometimes Jensen thinks words like love and forever in the quiet, still darkness of the morning hours, when it’s only him and Jared’s sleeping form barely an arm’s length away with none of their everyday troubles bearing down on them. He presses kisses against the beautiful curve of Jared's neck like promises and prays he's not alone in this.

Get prompting!!
