I LOVE MY SHOW.

So, in conclusion?

Mel: oh my god is it Thursday again?
Anney: WHY ISN'T IT THURSDAY

Robin told me to download this program, VLC, because my windows media player wasn't downloading the codec correctly, and so I did. Then I watched CSPWDT (seriously, that is the stupidest episode title ever) with her. Again.

We wibbled, we squeed, we made obscene comments about Jensen's hair and Sam's forehead, and then I figured out how to work the screencap function.

ExpandYep, soon I will be capping like a proper mad thing. But for now? )

Secretly, I like making you all cry.

I just updated, yah, yah, but this seriously deserves its own post.

Born to Kill, a vid by [livejournal.com profile] ringwench

I don't think I even have the coherance to properly rec this, because it is just so intense. When I was done watching it the first time through, I had to sit back and just stare at the wall for a minute to get my breath back. The pacing of this vid is what really got me. This isn't just clips thrown together in a way that fits the song--this goes above and beyond that. Every single movement, from Sam tapping his hand against a book to Meg opening her eyes, is perfectly synchronized with the beat of the music. And it tells a story, which a lot of vids don't. I...yeah, just...go download this and then watch it thousands and thousands of times.

So, apparently, I spend my Friday nights sitting alone in a corner with only one light on, writing songs. I have no idea where this came from and I love it probably more than is healthy. It's not the best quality recording ever known to man, but my microphone is embedded, so I couldn't get any closer without it dissolving into "shhhhpt" sounds. Definite thanks go to my Robin, who I inflicted this upon in various stages of progress.

This is kind of jazzy, and very a capella. And the tiny bit of percussion? A tissue box. Oooh, yeah, I am that classy.
