EL JAY I HATE YOU
Holy shit I just lost my entire entry. That is not cool. It was SIX PARAGRAPHS LONG. OF DOOM. THERE WERE LINKS AND PHILOSOPHICAL DISCUSSIONS. GAH!!!
I don't even have the energy to try and re-type it all.

I've lost my scholarship, I'm sure of it. I worked my fucking ass off last semester, and what do I get as repayment? Having to cough up $3,500 more a semester. Yeah, thanks URI, way to be.
I've been looking around at community colleges and in-state colleges that I could maybe transfer to that would be cheaper, but, turns out New York is not a cheap state. Who knew?
I have found one CUNY that looks very good indeed, though: Brooklyn College. Only $2,000 in-state tuition and classes that knock URI's socks off. The only downside of going there would be the inability to live on-campus. Although, considering that I'd be going from $20-something-thousand to $2-something-thousand, I could most likely manage to rent out an apartment closer to school.
But the classes! Go look at the classes! They make my girl-parts tingle! They make my inner academic squeal with geekish joy! They have a class called Protest and Revolution!!! My heart is a-flutter!
I just wish I could stay at URI, only because of my friends. I'll miss Debbie more than I can even say--MY DEBBIE--but I can't imagine making my parents take on any more cost than necessary, and I'm not getting the education that I honestly want anyway, so maybe it's for the best.
Man do I not want to talk to my mother about this.
