*brandishes dust-buster*
Aug. 26th, 2006 08:28 pmI am cleaning like a madwoman! I have The Pirate Sash of Cleaning around my head and I have waged war on my room--still not sure who's winning, though I swear I haven't seen this much of my floor since I moved in over 6 years ago.
I have no idea what motivated me this afternoon, but whatever it was has certainly jump started me, but good. Knowing that I have to pack usually doesn't get me going until an hour before we have to leave, and then I wind up running around like a chicken without its head. Weird that I still have a full week and I'm mostly done with all of my knick-knacks, toiletries, and things.
Guess I'm kind of cleaning to leave, though, for good. I don't plan on still living here after this school year, which will come as no suprirse to my father or sister, and I kind of want to leave behind as little as I can so when the time comes I can just go, "Ah, this, this, this; the rest can be thrown out!" and have done with it. God, that day cannot come soon enough. I love my family as much as the next person, but we do not get along in the living-together way.Oh ho ho, understatement.
It is sad how much I am looking forward to going back to school. I feel like I'm breaking some kind of secret teenager code.
Uh-oh, the sweatshirts are revolting again.
EDIT: I WIN! \o/
