Okay, so I have a bunch of music for you that I uploaded for
trollprincess, but which you all also get to partake in. Feel the love.

- Lou Reed - Take a Walk on the Wild Side
This song is just so feel-good and mellow and fun that you can't help but want to listen to it on repeat for hours. - Cody Chestnutt - I Look Good in Leather
Hahaha, oh man. The title really says it all. ps this is Dean Winchester's anthem - Gary Jules - Mad World
Haunting in a way where it doesn't let you go until hours or days later. Just plain gorgeous. - The Dandy Warhols - Sleep
I can't make up my mind as to whether I hate or love this song. It's kind of soft and kind of pretty, but it sort of hurts, too, with how much longing is packed in. - Tea Party - A Woman Like You
Damn, this song can get me like nothing else. I've played this on repeat for hours and hours and still, every time it comes up on my shuffle, I can't help but shiver and hope it never ends. One of my favorite songs of all time. - Cat Power - Hate
This one digs in deep down and tugs hard. The vocals are amazing and smokey, and the lyrics smash all of my buttons. - Radiohead - Exit Music (for a film)
Still has the power to make my voice crack and my hands wobble; beautiful. - Sinister Ducks - March of the Sinister Ducks
Crack. Crack in cracksauce served on a pile of steaming crack with crack as a dessert option, and so much friggin fun I could die. Every time I see a duck, now, I sing this song in my head. - The Libertines - The Good Old Days
This one kind of has a significance if you know anything about the two frontmen, but even without that background, it's just a damn good song and you should listen to it. Like now. - Hawksley Workman - Striptease
This song. Is so. Awesome! It makes me want to dance around like a fool, and it also makes me want to dance around a pole. One of the funnest songs in the history of fun songs. - Aqualung - Strange and Beautiful (I'll Put a Spell on You)
Slow and pretty, not sappy or overly lyrical; just perfect. - Fiona Apple - Use Me
I am such a bad person because I did not put this in the comment fortrollprincess! Someone should hit me for being a naughty girl. And it's Fiona, which of course means it is amazing, although it cuts off annoyingly at the end since it's live...but it's still worth it!
Share the love and the music! Rec me a few songs, upload them to YouSendIt.com, or attach them to an email (to mackenziephifer[AT]msn[DOT]com ). I'm in the zone. ♥

But not as much as Creep. Only just; Creep being my favouritest song of all time. This bloke was playing Just in the subway last night and me, being drunk, sang along and gave him a quid for giving me 5 seconds worth of enjoyment.
Strange and Beautiful is my Voldemort's Mum song :0P

Not everybody liked them over here after they went all Kid A and Amnesiac on us. But I think Pyramid Song is one of their best BUT: Interesting Fact about that. Because, I did the same course as Thom Yorke at uni (I actually applied to do it at Exeter uni, where he went, too :0P But they were all a bunch of snobs and looked down on me for not listening to Radio 3 so I went to Cardiff and...now I actually do listen to Radio 3 quite a lot so In Their Face :0P!) anyway - so on this course we studied a piece of music called The Fox by one of those composers who went loony in the first world war. And there's this piano playing through this music and the chords it plays in one bar are THE EXACT SAME CHORDS as Thom Yorke puts in as the basis to Pyramid Song - he hadn't even changed the key!
Sneaky bugger. Mind, the song was written in like 1915 or something, I doubt anyone would mind. And I liked it cos I'd been trying to work out for ages how to play that song :0P
There, you see. Up there for thinking, down there for dancing....
I waffle Way Too Much.
In other news, have you listened to any Elbow?
