this post is seekritly a gip
Why is it four in the morning and I am posting recs? Note to flist: make me go to sleep.
-But I Never Could Sharpen No Blade, Quite the Way He Say by
onelittlesleep (Gen, R) ~4658 words
I didn't realize exactly what was going on until it smacked me over the back of the head with a frying pan. I am still crying, I can't review this coherantly. Pre-Stanford, Dean and Sam go for a drive.
-Can You Take 'em All? and He's Got the Whole World by
merepersiflage (Sam/Dean, NC-17) ~3500 words, and ~2100 words
Hot, shameless, absolutely panty-melting sex. With toys. Run, do not walk!
-City of Angels (And Demons, And Lawyers) by
joyfulgirl41 (Sam/Dean, NC-17) ~5154 words
This is a crossover with Angel: The Series, and it is also crack!fic. Sam gets turned into a girl and, as Cordelia is so quick to put it, wackiness ensues. Very cute story.
-Conversational Winchester for Trolls by
eloise_bright (Gen, PG) ~1850 words
Snark with a side of melted snark on a steaming platter of broiled snark. Have I mentioned snark? This is a guaranteed laugh, and just plain fun. "'Who’s that trip-trapping over my metaphorical… blah de blah blah,' said the troll. 'Dude, you fugly,' said the middlest Winchester."
-Credo Ut Intelligam by
fryadvocate (Gen, PG) ~1844 words
I admit to loving Dean a ridiculous amount, and so this fic steps on my face and kicks me in the gut. "If Dean was a noun, he would be a Latin noun, he would shuttle off each part of himself into a different ending, so that when he smiled a certain way he would mean one thing and when he lied to people it would be ok because the other four declinations of him weren't liars at all."
-Endless Night by
thisdistance (kind of Sam/Dean, R) ~7706 words
Damn. Just...damn. This fucks with your mind in a way that little else can--you can never quite tell whether or not what you're reading is what's really happening, and Dean's confusion is living thing. Highly creepy and really well written.
-Family Matters by
winterlive (Gen, PG) ~2444 words
A few beautiful snapshots into the lives of the Winchesters, mostly pre-series. I've read this story over and over again, and it can still make me grin like an insane person.
-Fishing Through the City Phonelines by
flipmontgirl (Sam/Dean, NC-17) ~1054 words
Hot as fuck. Dirty, rough, unapologetic smut that is so subtly tender and filled with love that I maybe want to cry.
