you love me and my h0rishness

Oh, flist. When I am tired, I am snuggly. *hugs you close*

Right now, I am fuzzy and fluffy, I am so close to being asleep I'm not even sure I'm typing this, PeeWee's playhouse is on, I get to scream at random intervels whenever the the special word is said, and I have completely shirked all responsibility regarding my philosophy homework.

(Um. I have three classes tomorrow, right? What am I even taking? I don't know.)

Life is good and I don't think I could possibly love it more than I do right now. Even though I know I have all of these obligations and problems, it doesn't much matter, considering how lucky I am to know all the beautiful people I know and have all the friends I do. ♥

So, tell me something, sweeties: something about you or your life or if you remember a particular childhood something. Do you have a favorite subject? Have you always loved jazz?

Just--let's have a nice, long talk.

Awww for you!

Ok ok ok. This is a subject we like to call Flying Down The Stairs. Several people I have talked to have done this, and so you have to tell me if you have too :0P

When I was 6 I pushed off from the top step and I swear I glided down to the bottom of the stairs. I thought I could fly. I tried it several times after and it never worked.

Ok so I forgot about this and then one time I was talking about random stuff with my boyfriend. He has this thing where he can walk past a light and it will turn off, incidentally. He does it whilst driving, too, it's dead inconvenient. Ok anyway so he just never believes in anything, but I told him about this stair thing and he goes, man, when I was 6 or 7, I thought I flew down the stairs too. I always thought it was a dream cos I went and told my mum and she told me I was stupid.

So we decided that was odd. Anyway, after that we've found at least 5 other people who reckon they did it too, and nobody believed them at the time so they thought they'd dreamt it and forgotten it.

So the question is this: Do all little children have the ability to fly?!!!!!

It's very Peter Pan. :0P

To be honest I reckon we all just dreamed it, but that's cos I'm an adult now, and Know Better.

"I'm older now."
"And wiser?"
"I hope so."
"We trade our dreams for so called wisdom. I wonder: is it a good exchange?"

Now I have talked the ears off you I shall leave :0D

I am of the firm belief that ALL children have superpowers. It's a horrifying thought, surely, but just think of it. How else can they manage some of the things they do?

I swear to God I pulled a Neville when I was little and bounced when someone dropped me. My mother once told me they dropped me off the table and I landed firmly on my little ass, unharmed and cooing. Another time, I ran my little red toy car into a tree and rattled a bees nest. The entire nest came and stung me and I just sat there and giggled.

Although, I suppose that could just be me and not all children. I don't know.
