Dear I-95,
You suck, and I couldn't possibly hate you more than I do at this moment in time. We left my dorm at 5:45 and we arrived home at nearly 10:00, even though the trip usually only lasts two and a half hours. Why must you be the only interstate in New England that goes where I need you to? I want to smash you up into little pieces, dance on your dusty remains, and then sprinkle you with salt because that will hurt.
No love,
Mel
So on the [long, long, long] drive home, I put one of my mix CDs on in the car, which is not usually the cause of hilarity, but, well, my dad, folks; my dad.
All of you know "Trogdor" right? If you don't, head over to homestarrunner.com and learn all about the awesomesaucity of Strong Bad. So, ok, "Trogdor" came on, and my dad listens for a second. Trogdor was a man, Strong Bad sings, he was a...dragon man. Or maybe he was just...a...dragon. And my dad turns to me and says, "Was this in that movie? Y'know, Blast From the Past?"
Ahahahahahahahahaha. Oh, I love my daddy. ♥
Now, tomorrow, I'm going to put together a huge post of music: The Tea Party, Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, Dirty Pretty Things, Lenahan, and Harry and the Potters. Oh yes, I'm goin' there, but does anyone have requests? I will list CDs on demand.

I so remember Trogdor. You know, my kids had to draw a dragon in a lesson on adjectives once - it was George and the Dragon and we were thinking of words to describe George and the Dragon, obviously :0P.
"How do you draw a dragon, Miss?"
I'm not ashamed to say, they all ended up with mini trogdorian dragons in their books, with the stick legs and muscly arms and everything. It was tres cool.
