This just in: Stephen Colbert wins at life. That is so freaking awesome, holy crap.

Today went well; nothing blew up or tried to eat my face, and even though there was a minor incident when I couldn't figure out what building I should be going into and ended up going into ALL of them to find the registration room, I am now the proud owner of a full schedule and a shiny new ID card on which I look like a very cheerful serial killer. \o/ - woooooo! It actually turned out that I was over-prepared. I made the girl who was supposed to be 'advising' me and putting my classes into the system cry because I had the course codes and everything scheduled out before I got to her.

Girl: I'm...I'm so overwhelmed! This is the best thing that's ever happened to me! Thank you! Thank you so, so much! You've restored my faith in humanity!
Mel: Uh. Can I go now?
Girl: HAVE THE BEST DAY EVER, O-M-G!

And man I second annella! There is no Halloween here either. Although the past two years people here have used it for commercial shit and such and there's stuff to buy around Halloween, but yeah, I've never been Trick or Treating before either. My life is sad and boring. *sigh*

What is the deal, other countries? Get with the Halloween program. It is a time of peace and goodwill and also tiny little pumpkin-children who run around yelling MOMMA MOMMA I GOTS A CANDY BARS AN' IT'S ORANGE!

There are, unfortunately, no pictures of Zombie!me that I know of. I was very much not out for most of it, because MY SHIRT WAS RIPPED AND DRIPPING WITH BLOOOOODDDD. It was all very dramatic. I scared my friend Lauren when I tried to eat her brains. Ahhh, memories.

And god, I miss you too. Someone must really hate us for I am online right now and you are not. I thought it was your day off Wednesdays? But well, you're probably chilling outside or learning stuff or sleeping or meeting with all the new awesome people you most definitely met.

I miss you too and I'm thinking of you! (And every time I think, man, I really miss Mel, my brain does this weird thing where I hear Carson from "Letters from Pegasus" say about his mother "I miss her terribly." And that makes me smile again.)

*snickers* I do a horrible faux-Scottish accent, but when I get home, I'll try and record me saying that for you. I MISS YOU TERRIBLY, JULES. And, also, there is nothing in the world that you can give me that will make me show you pictures of mini-me. I am honestly one of the least photogenic people in the world. Even as a kid. Horrifying.

My day off is actually Friday. I have late class on Tuesday, so I'm around until about 1; Wednesdays I go in at 11:30ish; Mondays at Thursdays at 9ish. But, yeah, I have this Friday off so I'll be able to talk to you then if you'll be around! And Monday is Labor Day, so the whole school has off! I WILL SEE YOU SOME TIME THIS WEEKEND OR I AM GOING TO BAWL. D:
