I swear I'm not dead or anything. I've been poked by a few needles and sneezed through two boxes of tissues and become far too emotionally invested in our stock of Sudafed, but I'm otherwise okay. So let's play catch-up! How've you all been? What incredible romance and intrigue have I missed? I've been a terrible LJ friend and also incredibly bored (have you noticed that Spike only plays CSI marathons when you have other things to watch? I sense a deep evil in that station), feel free to babble at me. Also:

Hm. When I think of you, I mostly think of woven clouds. Which is such an odd thing to say, I'm sure, but your art is always so beautifully intricate and there are always these soft little touches that you can only see if you put your mind to it, and - *hands*.


GOD, why didn't Ambers mention this to me! Are his knees as adorably knobby as they look? This is need-to-know, okay, work with me.

(Also, randomly, did your holiday package ever arrive? I only ask because kashmir1's ended up going to her via Texas even though I am in New York. I don't know how that works, but it took doubly long for her to get it and the cookies went stale and I totally failed at putting tracking on yours. D': Ahhh USPS!)

a;lkjsd;lkjds yes yes I thought I had emailed you about it! I did get it, when I got back to my usual place. My roommate said it had come, like, the day after I left, along with a whole bunch of other stuff the stupid worthless USPS did not forward on to me a;lskdjs;dlkj

Alas, the cookies were stale, but my dessert that night was the Reese's Cup christmas tree. I LOVE REESE'S CUPS SHAPED LIKE THINGS THEY ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CANDY OF ALL TIME OMG!!!!!! And I have the York peppermint patties in my office, for purposes of worktime nibbling :D :D :D

Oh thank god! I was worried some random retiree named Helena in Florida was suddenly in possession of all your cookies and candies! Yay to all of these things! Possibly I will try again soon with the cookies, because that is just not on.
