i like exclamation points!

Ahahah, I want ALL the porn I watch to have the 2001: A Space Odyssey theme in the background. I mean, can you ever really appreciate the size of a guy's erection if you're not hearing: duuun, dunnn, dunnnnnnnnn...DUN-DUN!

So epic. So beautifully appropriate.

In other news, my scheduled panic attack has finally commenced. I have stupidly left a buttload of my present-buying until the last minute! I am pretty sure I did horrible in every single one of my classes! Jules is going to yell at me when she finds out, but I have repeatedly forgotten to eat for the past week! In two days, my sister is going to wake me up at eight a.m. wearing an elf hat and singing the Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song as loud and off-key as she possibly can! In six days, I will be leaving for England and I still haven't done any wash or found my suitcase or decided if the inevitable mocking is worth having my polka dotted galoshes with me! Sometimes I think that I am not equipped to handle life. Where are my socks.

Oh, but! Speaking of the whole England trip thing. I'm going to be on a plane for seven and a half hours. Ahhg. So, uh, anyone willing to zip me up some of their music? (Look at this face I am making, it is really really cute and irresistible.)

I'm usually not so much into pop rock, but I'm in love with this album.

Dreaming Out Loud - OneRepublic (http://www.sendspace.com/file/9p8fcd)

I hope your trip is the best! And always ask for a blanket on a plane, because they get cold. Brr.

[identity profile] unamaga.livejournal.com 2007-12-24 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
Eeee, thank you! I'm usually pretty okay on planes because I layer like a MAD THING, but the advice is appreciated. *salutes*

I learned it the hard way. Went with my Spanish class to Puerto Rico in June, so I figured, hey, it'll be warm. Wore only a thin pair of jeans and a t-shirt. -_- Froze the whole way down and then again on the way back up, as I didn't have any long-sleeved shirts or sweaters.

Next time I fly, I don't care if it's to the Sahara desert, I'm wearing long johns and a sweater!

[identity profile] polyspaston.livejournal.com 2007-12-23 02:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Yayness! The Land of Eng! I have no music for you, alas, for I am on a computer that is bitterly bereft of it. :0(

But if you wanted Biffy Clyro's album, that's on here, just holler ;0)

If I could upload it all in time, I would give you all of my music (which really is not much).

Instead, I will upload it all in batches! Or as much as I can in the next seven days. Also, you should eat. Here: have a truffle (or two, or ten). They are yummy, but, alas, not homemade.

Also, bring the polka dotted galoshes. They will only bring smiles, I guarantee you. Wel, unless you don't need them. Then you will curse yourself for having brought them. BUT THEY ARE YOUR NO-RAIN CHARM. (Nearly every time I've been camping it's rained. The 'nearly' being the one time I brought a rain coat and lo! it didn't rain. Everyone called me crazy for it, but I am okay with that.)

I will comment again with Music! Part 1 when it has finished uploading. Unfortunately, I think, no, wait, only one song is from a related-to-you!mix.

*pets* What is so bad about elf hats (*jealous, though still looking for a jingly Christmas tree hat, so not as jealous as I could be*) and the Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song?

[identity profile] unamaga.livejournal.com 2007-12-23 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
DUDE. you are like. fja;wogl! *jumps on you*! thank you so much, honey! <3333

*laughs* *tickles you* You're welcome!

Music! Part 5

(By my estimates, there will be 25 parts, since I'm not going to zip the SPN soundtracks. Unless you'd like them?)

[identity profile] unamaga.livejournal.com 2007-12-23 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
*squeals into fists* TWENTY FIVE! that is so glorious, omg.

i don't need them, no. i have the first season anyway. BUT thank you!

[personal profile] smangosbubbles 2007-12-23 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, each one contains 10 songs, so it's not as glorious as it sounds (though 250 songs will definitely get you through 7 1/2 hours). The sad thing it that is ALL of my non-SPN related music.

One day I'll upload every season in all their completeness. But first I have to really complete every season.

Actually, no. It's only going to be 248 songs because two are podfics. One is by you, and I'm pretty sure you don't need to hear your own fic (since you probably already have the file and everything). ANYWAY.

[identity profile] unamaga.livejournal.com 2007-12-23 07:49 pm (UTC)(link)
oh, there is nothing bad about elf hats and alvin and the chipmunks normally, but my sister is tone deaf and also it will be EARLY. i don't do well when it's early. my sister has decided (after many years of experience) that she's going to hold a pillow in front of her chest in case i try to hit her with a shoe or, you know, my fist. sometimes it's hard to believe that she's four years older.

i am currently listening to little bitty pretty one and it is GRAND. *dances*

8am is not early. This year, my family has decided we are getting up at 5am (since my mom has to be at work for 8). Well, I am, anyway. So there can be BACON and CINNAMON ROLLS. But I will sympathise with the tone deaf thing (though I am tone deaf, so maybe not the best sympathizer? I usually don't sing, though). Are you mocking older siblings? *shock*

IT'S THE MATILDA POKER CHIP DANCE SONG. I swear, ittook me years to find, and then one day I thought "I bet IMDB would know what song that it" and they DID and I felt really, really stupid. It does sound mildly pedophilic (or something) though. Which makes me sad.

[identity profile] unamaga.livejournal.com 2007-12-23 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
HAHAHA! the first time i properly listened to the lyrics of this song, it was being sung by a twelve year old little boy so it was ADORABLE and i haven't been able to really notice the old-man vibes. but but MATILDA. that was seriously one of the first books i ever read for pleasure. *draws hearts*

and okay, but, i go to bed at SIX AM, eight is early for me! D: and i think it's only fair that i mock my older sibling, since she caused me MUCH pain when we were growing up.

I spent years just listening to the music ad not the lyrics so I didn't catch it until I went and got the album art and lyrics and then I was like "woah, pedophilic much?" I've read Matilda once, in like, two hours when I was really bored (which is not to say I only read when I'm bored, but I had nothing else around that I hadn't read before, so I read Matilda). I didn't like it very much - I'm extremely movie-biased in regards to Matilda (which comes from seeing the movie about ten million times (my cousins and sister and I used to recite our favorite parts in perfect unison. With VOICES!) and then reading the book four years later when the movie has basically become religion, just, doesn't work. It's like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - I was so used to seeing the colors and whatnot (after one viewing, yeah, I can bias myself very, very quickly) that the book was just not as magical. That, and having to read to me (my sister did not like reading, so my mom decided to read it to us (but never finished it), but she read it too slowly for me to actually get into)) just wasn't on.

Sad, sad people who can't operate on two hours of sleep. *shakes head* Pfft. *turns up nose* &laughs* You are very amusing.

Wait, you have PORN with the 2001 THEME IN THE BACKGROUND!? THIS IS CHRISTMAS. PLZ TO SHARE. I mean, SERIOUSLY!?

ENGLAND! HAVE FUN! I say BRING THE GALOSHES! I SHARE YOUR LOVE OF EXCLAMATION POINTS AND ADD MY LOVE OF CAPSLOCK!

Is it possible to zip things on a Mac? And what kinds of music do you like?

[identity profile] unamaga.livejournal.com 2007-12-24 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
I CANNOT REFIND IT, but rest assured that it was freaking awesome. Although I think if you surf through pervius.com you'll find some really funny stuff, especially in the 'retro' sections. THIS IS WHAT I DO FOR FUN. I am so, so pathetic.

UHH, I know pretty much nothing about Mac zipping capabilities, but I like ALL DIFFERENT KINDS of music - jazzy, modern, alternative, indie, rock, metal. As long as it's not rap or country or from the 80's, I'm happy. :D

[identity profile] hebrew-hernia.livejournal.com 2007-12-24 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
WELL OKAY THEN.

I'm going through my music now to find new stuff because I've come to the place where I find myself periodically, skipping 10+ songs in a row on my mp3 player because I HATE ALL OF MY MUSIC WHYYYY. I think it's because most of the songs I have on my iPod are summer/fall songs and now it's really winter... YES MY MUSIC HAS SEASONS OK. A lot of it just has to do with the first time I ever heard it, or if it mentions weather, or stuff like that. SO I shall comment back here when I get something zipped & uploaded.

Polka Dot galoshes!!!

They were selling some of those down here and I wanted to buy some but I thought "what the hell for?"

Um, yeah...I don't have anything to add other than that.

Also, I was very happy that I wasn't drinking anything when I read the 2001: A Space Odyssey.
