i like exclamation points!

Ahahah, I want ALL the porn I watch to have the 2001: A Space Odyssey theme in the background. I mean, can you ever really appreciate the size of a guy's erection if you're not hearing: duuun, dunnn, dunnnnnnnnn...DUN-DUN!

So epic. So beautifully appropriate.

In other news, my scheduled panic attack has finally commenced. I have stupidly left a buttload of my present-buying until the last minute! I am pretty sure I did horrible in every single one of my classes! Jules is going to yell at me when she finds out, but I have repeatedly forgotten to eat for the past week! In two days, my sister is going to wake me up at eight a.m. wearing an elf hat and singing the Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas song as loud and off-key as she possibly can! In six days, I will be leaving for England and I still haven't done any wash or found my suitcase or decided if the inevitable mocking is worth having my polka dotted galoshes with me! Sometimes I think that I am not equipped to handle life. Where are my socks.

Oh, but! Speaking of the whole England trip thing. I'm going to be on a plane for seven and a half hours. Ahhg. So, uh, anyone willing to zip me up some of their music? (Look at this face I am making, it is really really cute and irresistible.)

HAHAHA! the first time i properly listened to the lyrics of this song, it was being sung by a twelve year old little boy so it was ADORABLE and i haven't been able to really notice the old-man vibes. but but MATILDA. that was seriously one of the first books i ever read for pleasure. *draws hearts*

and okay, but, i go to bed at SIX AM, eight is early for me! D: and i think it's only fair that i mock my older sibling, since she caused me MUCH pain when we were growing up.

I spent years just listening to the music ad not the lyrics so I didn't catch it until I went and got the album art and lyrics and then I was like "woah, pedophilic much?" I've read Matilda once, in like, two hours when I was really bored (which is not to say I only read when I'm bored, but I had nothing else around that I hadn't read before, so I read Matilda). I didn't like it very much - I'm extremely movie-biased in regards to Matilda (which comes from seeing the movie about ten million times (my cousins and sister and I used to recite our favorite parts in perfect unison. With VOICES!) and then reading the book four years later when the movie has basically become religion, just, doesn't work. It's like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - I was so used to seeing the colors and whatnot (after one viewing, yeah, I can bias myself very, very quickly) that the book was just not as magical. That, and having to read to me (my sister did not like reading, so my mom decided to read it to us (but never finished it), but she read it too slowly for me to actually get into)) just wasn't on.

Sad, sad people who can't operate on two hours of sleep. *shakes head* Pfft. *turns up nose* &laughs* You are very amusing.
