kashmir1 and I watched Scanners 2 last night - no, I don't know why either. Except, wait! I do! Damn you, DHew.

It was a pretty gross movie, and I could have seriously done without all the bubbling flesh and...things, but at least there were a few high points. AKA David Hewlett. trinityofone's puppy ficlet means so much more to me now. The relevant bits of the movie (or, well, what I consider relevant anyway, meaning: kissing, puppies, and telekinetic sex) are uploaded here and here, both .mp4 files. While looking through your old icon posts I happened to find that Joe/John fic you wrote which was quite possibly the weirdest and most erotic thing I've ever read- and while I'm not normally into the graphic slash or weird RL/FC stories... I have a feeling I'm going to end up reading it again. I think the appropriate term is... mesmerizing? And the mini sequel that followed it... Um.. well, yeah. The whole thing was kinda, well, surprisingly good. And I don't mean that it was surprising that you wrote it well (so please don't take offense), it's more surprising that my personal preferences toward that kind of writing would allow me to like it? If that makes sense. Gee, now I'm just rambling in a possibly insulting way which I didn't mean to do at all and was in fact trying to give you a compliment for making me like something I don't think I could have if it hadn't been written the way you wrote it. Not insulting at all! A lot of people seem to feel the same way about real people slash, or real people slashed with characters - it's not offensive to me in any way. It's a personal preference thing, which everyone has a right to. So it's especially flattering to hear you liked what schnee and I wrote enough to look past that. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. :">
