- Feist - Leisure Suite This is my RayK anthem. Shut up, it works, okay.
- August Rush OST - Elgar|Something Inside I'm kind of at a loss to describe what August Rush meant to me without sounding like a total asshat? So we'll just go with "it was good" and leave it at that.
- Babel Soundtrack - Bibo No Aozora This is what I wake up with every morning, the background to my yoga and meditation. It's calming and unobtrusive without losing any of its unique, quirky beauty.
- The Weepies - Little Bird Sweet and sad and hopeful, with a completely gorgeous bass line and a light voice to top over it - just. Yeah.
- Madeleine Peyroux - Life is Fine This one's broody and a little dark, but Madeleine's voice is, as always, up to the task. I listen to this one with my headphones only; it's just that kind of song, I think.
- Her Space Holiday - Something To Do With My Hands Just plain sexy. The thumb thing kills me every time.
- Sufjan Stevens - Seven Swans One of the most beautiful, haunting songs I've ever heard. Absolutely stunning. And, actually, the entire Seven Swans album has practically been on repeat since I got it. The tone of it is just so perfect for me right now.
- Jump, Little Children - Cathedrals Without getting too wibbly, this song is kind of how I've been feeling lately: small and lost, staring up at something greater and older than I'll ever get to be.
- Patrick Wolf - Magpie This has been one of my favorite songs for as long as I've known who Patrick Wolf is, and I have a feeling it will never, ever get old. Every time I listen to it, I bring something entirely new and different away with me.
- The Wave Pictures - Kiss Me I want to learn how to play this. I don't care how long it takes me. It's awesome.
